Dr. Ali Saberi, MD

About

Dr. Ali Saberi's journey into medicine has been shaped by diverse cultures, humanitarian service, and a lifelong commitment to understanding the connection between physical health, emotional well-being, and the human spirit.

Born in Washington, D.C. to Persian parents, Dr. Saberi spent his early years in the United States before moving to Iran at the age of 19 to help his family begin a new chapter. During this time, the loss of his mother became a deeply transformative experience that inspired a broader search for meaning, healing, and the true nature of wellness.

In 1993, he began his medical education at the University of Pécs Medical School in Hungary. Living and studying in Europe for nearly eight years exposed him to a wide range of cultures, philosophies, and healthcare perspectives, reinforcing his belief that medicine should care for the whole person—not simply treat disease.

After graduating in 2001, Dr. Saberi dedicated himself to humanitarian medicine. He collaborated with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Iran before joining Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), providing medical care in Afghanistan following the events of September 11, 2001. Working in challenging environments alongside people from many cultures strengthened his conviction that compassion, resilience, and human connection are essential components of healing.

Today, Dr. Saberi combines the foundation of evidence-based Internal Medicine with holistic health principles, lifestyle medicine, wellness coaching, peptide therapy education, and mind-body-spirit practices. His goal is to help individuals move beyond symptom management by addressing the deeper factors that influence long-term health, vitality, and personal growth.
